Nice Speeder Mic. Had a chance to test it yet?

I built up my 2009 Horky F1 yesterday and considering ISRA USA does not require realistic paint jobs, I decided to paint a new body in my real colors

I'll try out a 6T pinion with Dubick crown gear next weekend for final safety checks, but the PK .460 dia arms seem to like the 6T better than the 7T

Got to go to track Wednesday night to do some train repair upstairs in the restaurant . Going to test it out then. mounting body later today and will get motor set and guide flag and wires on it. working on some of Jerzey Jayros motors right now. So much to do and now so little time under 2 weeks and not half ready.

    Hey, Slotcar Racer
Who's F1 body is that, do they make it in 1/24. Also, does that guide nut work well on that smaller guide tongue?
    Thanks
    George

That's the current ISRA McLaren F1 body.

The Red Fox 1/24 Formula One body is very similar if not the same....I believe the 1/24 is also supposed to be a McLaren but it may not be. Looks a lot like the 1/32 body.

The Harry's Nuts are the best innovation to guide set up. I like them a lot because of how they are so easy to install with the wrench.

    Thanks for the endorsement!

For those who have not tried these yet, the nuts are available in both brass and aluminum, and you can get a combo-pack of a Driver and 6 nuts in aluminum, brass or 3 of each. All available from your favorite raceway, and if not, then ask them to contact either myself or Herman the TopKat. Details are in the Commercial Classifieds section:

So last night tested mack speed for first time...not too bad...going to have to put different body on it..had a dome painted and thing was chattering all over the track...once got the dust cleared off lane and tires came in car was makeing back to back good laps over and over...going to try a couple more different things, but all in all very clean chassis to drive...once its stuck to track it really can roll the laps with falling off...lol!!!!
