The Pro 4.5 NASCAR (that even sounds wrong) allowed Ron to show what he could do against other racers of his caliber. What he finished LAST!!!!!! LOL Keep in mind Ron is involved with 2 businesses. One a body business and one ironically a motor building and refurbishing business. I'd say he has exceptional skill at the very least. The pro results may have showed where he really belongs though.
I've done so much with so little for so long it seems like I can do anything with nothing at all.
So with this 5 year rule BS!!! In 2014 I can go race Semi Pro G7 again...
Ron do the right thing and give it to someone who isn't a MFG and a PRO racer!!! I know it's hard but jeez have some integrity...

I can't wait to see Ron and Rande on the podium for the kid's race on the figure 8. How refreshing, I'm so tired of seeing kids win a kid's race. Sheez, how do you guys sleep at night?

I don't know how Ron or Rande can enjoy such hollow victories. There's no accomplishment in whipping up on racers that aren't near as good as you. Forget that it's not right. Why would would they even want to race in those races? They must be bullies at heart.

Could someone tell me what products are made by RPM. I have looked thru Eagle, ERI and Crawley and find no products for sale by RPM. So if you are a very good Racer in IRRA, D3 or Florida Series, that makes you an Expert even if you have never won a USRA Scale Race. I guess anyone who works for Parma, JK Champion would automatically be an Expert. Just because you make a product doesn't mean you can drive at the expert level.
Maybe the Nats Organizers should split Scale Racing into 2 Separate Divisions.
Banked Track and Flat Track.
Forget about Pro and Am.
Just a suggestion.

RPM were the first spring steel GT-12 chassis from I'm guessing 1999 - 2000 ish when they were introduced? Until that time they were all brass and wire. Rande had some other products, but I don't remember what they were. I don't believe there are currently any RPM products other than the retro chassis that Rande builds for Ron and the rest of the Fast Ones racers.
FYI:
JK was a very good G27 racer and now only gets out and does an occasional JK spec race with usually a borrowed car. Personally I believe the manufacturers get into manufacturing because they were good racers and take the next step. I would bet that bad racers becoming manufacturers is probably not the norm?
