Let Us Know What You Think...

    All,

I created a forum about a week ago to promote ISRA Style racing. I talked to Paul K about us each having a forum. We agreed that he would make an ISRA section on his forum that way we can put all our results, pictures, questions, schedules, etc.. in one section and not have to root around the rest of the forums to find inforamtion. I liked the idea of having my own forum, but in reality this would be much easier since everyone already has an account and is familiar witht he layout and how things work here. The ISRA/USA Website will still be up and I will keep it as updated as i can with news and information.

    Thank You

Thanks Casey - for your help and cooperation in getting this ISRA USA forum set up.

Your ISRA USA web site will be a great reference site for ISRA USA rules, news, & info... while OWH Slot Car Talk can continue to be a resource for discussion and racing news & results with it's established readership of slot car racers all over the world.

This will hopefully help more racers to find this information without splitting off racers into too many different directions.

I realize that there is often overlap between various forum topics, so in those types of cases, I will try to copy and/or move threads to the appropriate forum while leaving a "redirect" so it is still easier to find from either forum.

I hope that this new section will help to promote ISRA USA, with many positive discussions regarding ISRA USA rules, info, and racing!

I think you've made an excellent decision Casey, you have my support on this. PK, it's great you're working with Casey on expanding the ISRA USA presence on OWH. Good collaboration.

    Casey and PK,

Strong move for all parties IMHO! Casey, I'm sure we "all" appreciate your efforts to promote our "style" of racing!

PK, thanks to you as well... OWH is the place!!! Just one thing though shouldn't "I" come before "U" in the forum listings? ;-)

There's an opening for a really bad joke or two there... but I'd really hate it if one of the other moderators had to censor me!
(it wouldn't be the first time!!!)

    "shouldn't "I" come before "you" ???

OK - I can't resist... I'll just use my old standard... "That's what SHE said"

    I know.... I know...

The boring answer is... the forums are arranged by assigning a number. If I gave them both a "1" then it would go alphabetical... so I guess I opted for leaving USRA on top by reason of seniority, longevity, or perhaps popularity... rather then letting the new one be on top (there I go again... thinking of another one...)

It's way past my bed time...

Thanks for all the positive remarks on the new forum - I think we're off to a good start!

Is that what you are going to do with your monthly racing at Buena Park?

    Casey:
The Tri State ISRA series is behind you 100% We will become alot more active this season, posting results and maybe pics as well. The ISRA type racing seems to be more on a professional level and mutual respect for each other is evident. Many of us have been around a long time and have seen the problems, the ISRA style gives a fresh start to build on and make better racing for everyone.
