    ISRA Worlds Brazil

I'm not present this year for the Worlds because of work issues that have sprung up. Believe me, I wish I was there! I'm sure they are doing a great, if not better job than I could have done!

In the mean time whom ever has had internet service have done the best they can to report. Think of it a rain delayed broadcast report so be patient. Right now couple of the Czech (thanks Antonin) & Europeans, and Greg Norris have given updates.....

It is sad to hear the the editor has left. I am pretty decent with website design and creation. I have designed the ISRA/USA website which can be found at: http://www.theisrausa.com. If i can do anything to help please let me know.

Good luck to all the racers at the Worlds in SP this year.

Yes! Casey, all you have to do is fit into one of those loose-fitting JP suits and you're good to go! ;-) Nothing like a little shameless self promotion I always say! ;-)

Raymond - I would think you would know that JPVR has been saying his goodbye's and retiring every couple months for the past umpteen years.

And every time he seems to find some totally unknown person that steps right in and strangely writes in exactly the same style as him, until he mysteriously reappears once again... Last year he suddenly retired when some new webmaster stepped in and said JP had to fly to the USA for some emergency special medical treatment. If true, then that is terrible... but it was odd how he just reappeared and the other guy disappeared without ever any explanation.

Hey Casey - maybe you can get JP to fly you to Belgium to take over his web site. I'm sure he probably has an extra Ferrari left laying around and an extra room in one of his mansions where you can stay... until he suddenly un-retires again. Next time he gets re-elected to Parliament from his prison cell, perhaps he'll have you stick around to shine his shoes. Before you send him your resume - I'd recommend you Google him first... you might be surprised at all the references about his many exploits.

I'm just waiting for him to start ranting once again about how all the lack of coverage in Brazil is all my fault for being to poor to pay somebody to fly to Brazil and cover it for OWH... so that he can copy all the results from here as he often does (check his Div 1 Nats "coverage" / rants), only to complain about how bad a "journalist" I am. I doubt many people will be planning a big retirement party... since we've just seen it announced way too many times. I can't help but notice that he never seems to be able to afford to line up a reporter of his own... but then I guess that's my job.

Don't get me started (too late!)... (I'm sure he'll probably do another editorial about this post)

I was wondering if Andy was there - but now we know. It would be nice to know who all made it from the USA. I did not see any list of entries posted on the Brazil ISRA site, or any race results yet. Possibly the webmaster is also busy at the races, or could be an outside contractor that they will need to send the results to after the event.

Thanks to those who have posted some results & pics on FB... but it would be nice if they could share some of the news here as well. I do realize that smart phones make it very easy to post a pic on FB directly from the phone.
