    New 1/32 Scratch Builder

This is the new Precision Slot Cars 1/32 Scratch Builder. These are the first prototype
fixtures for 1/32nd scale CSRA-spec / vintage / retro chassis, with metric dimensions. I believe that this is the first ever chassis fixture with metric dimensions, catering specifically to the needs of 1/32nd scale chassis builders.

Since CSRA regulations covers classes from just about every racing formula, ranging from pre-war Grand Prix cars to recent Formula One and sports prototype cars, and everything in-between, the chassis fixture had to be versatile.

From as short as 7' 4" (2.75" – 70mm scale) for 1960s Grand Prix and Sports/GT cars; to 10' 4" (3.87" – 98mm) for pre-war Grand Prix cars and late 1970s and 1980s NASCAR chassis, in 2mm increments. Additionally, the rear axle can be set at minus or plus 1mm, extending the wheelbase options even further.

    Overall width:
50mm-64mm in 2mm increments With pins and engraved lines to set the width

    Motor orientation:
Anglewinder, sidewinder and inline chassis configuration are possible, for FC-130, FK-130, FK-180, FF-050 and FF-030 motors.

    Jig Wheels
For classes requiring a minimum of 1.5mm ground clearance, which covers Sports/GT, Saloon/Touring and F1 & Indy/CART/IRL car classes (including Sports Prototypes, Can-Am, Group C, IMSA, Group 2, Group 5, Trans Am, NASCAR, F1 and Indy cars) from 1963 to 1993:

    4-sizes front jig wheels: 16mm, 17mm, 18mm, 19mm (for 1.5mm ground clearance - 3/32" axles / with sleeves for 1/16” axles)

    4-sizes rear jig wheel: 19mm, 20mm, 21mm, 21.5mm (for 1.5mm ground clearance - 3/32" axles)

For classes requiring a minimum of 2mm ground clearance (1950s/60s Grand Prix, Indy and F1 cars, although it covers rules for cars from 1934 through 1988):

    4-sizes of front wheel diameter: 19mm, 20mm, 21.5mm, 23mm (for 2mm ground clearance - 3/32" axles / with sleeves for 1/16” axles)

    4-sizes of rear wheel diameter: 20mm, 21.5mm, 24mm, 26mm (for 2mm ground clearance - 3/32" axles)

Thanks to Russell Sheldon for all your help developing this new product!

The American version will be available soon with inch dimensions.

    Dave,

Have you thought about adding the TSlots on the side like the bigger one? I would think that would be the cat's meow! there isn't anything out there for mounting bodies on 32nd scale cars.

As always, this looks like an awesome product!

I just want to add that I received one of these jigs this weekend, and I am blown away by the quality of the whole thing!

Dave's work has to be seen to be appreciated, and his responsiveness to suggestions and input is absolutely top class. Look for some new options for 1/32 builders, based on what we have learned already from these new products.

I can hardly wait to get building on this jig, I iwll post some photos and some feedback when I do.

    Thanks, Dave!!
