New track in my own back yard

Went to my local hobby store on my way home tonight to buy some piano wire and brass for my Retro Can-Am chassis build. It was late and the store was closed.I parked and went to the door to check their store hours.I noted the hours and noticed a small flier in the window.A picture of a smiling child and birthday balloons. The heading says"Check out our new party room" I look closer and in the background is what looks like an Engleman style 8 lane track.WOW! This place is only 1/2 mile from my house. Can't wait to check the track out tomorrow.WILLIS HOBBIES,300 WILLIS AV,MINEOLA,NY.

Good news! Let us know what you find out.
I like long walks, especially when they're taken by people who annoy me.

What a let down. The track is ONLY for birthday parties.I was told they will never make it a commercial raceway open to racers.Slots-A-Lot in Franklin Square NY is only a 20 min drive so all is not lost. I was so bummed I forgot to buy my piano wire and brass.Support your local raceway or there won't be any. SLOT-ON. Sam
