Sweet, this could be the chassis that gets more newbies into retro racing. I'm guessing that for about $150-160 you get a complete car. That's a great price point for new retro racers, should work as both Can Am or GT Coupe. I gotta get me one of these!

The Anglewinders look cool to me.
I always liked the sidewinders and anglewinders better.
I hope that class takes off.

    Mike,

We've been down this road before.

Let's just say you need to realize that if you don't like something, don't post your feelings.

Thanks for adhering to this advice.

Some of us are more then tired of hearing your opinions on something you don't participate in.

For those who care and participate the following is a New Flash from the SpeedZone:

This Thursday 11/1/12 is is the first week of the Wounded Warrior JK Sponsored JK Super Spec class, and will be raced immediately after the re-scheduled GP 10 race .
The entrance fee will be $8 and Speedzone will donate $2 on the racers behalf to the Wounded Warriors fund. For the first two weeks Speedzone will allow the use of the old JK spec chassis.

    Caution: Old thread reply alert.

Mike, To try to help you "understand the whole Retro Thing" and in the absence of Ray and Marty .... 'The charm' in scratch building is to have the patience and skill to build one.

Not ... all about racing one.
Anyone can build a 4.5" flexi ... What do you 'Build'?

I still don`t understand the whole Retro Thing.
I guess there is some charm in racing a Scratchbuilt Car.

    Fugly....

It's one thing to revive a topic that still may have current relevance...

but replying to a 3 year old post...??? sometimes seems a bit like returning a phone call from a message left 3 years ago on your voice mail.

I realize that Mike probably spent more then 3 years expounding on how much he dislikes retro...

but I think even he has given up on that topic by now.
