Way to go Jerry glad someone decided to have this race. No track or location is shown or did I miss something? I asked this question last year and so just to be sure I'll ask it again. Lou seemed to consider any legal slot car item that was ever commercially available as a legal race item. Does that still apply? In other words can we still use our BOW arms? Thank you Fred
I've done so much with so little for so long it seems like I can do anything with nothing at all.
As I stated last year, "commercial availability," in its most simplistic form, would mean that you can, or could, purchase the product from a manufacturer, distributor or raceway, who is, or was, in the business of making or selling slot car parts for profit to the masses. As such, that would imply that BOW arms are legal.
For a little further information and background on this topic, I would like to refer you to the post I made last year regarding this exact topic. http://www.slotcartalk.com/slotcarta...470#post295470
That's good to know since I'm from that area (Charleroi, Pa.) and my wife and I still have family there. Guess I'll start getting stuff ready. I'm old and slow and it takes me forever to build motors and paint bodies.
