    Plan to rebuild the timing/track controller but I don't recognize a part

    I'm confused!!!
    Plan to rebuild the timing/track controller but I don't recognize a part.
    Itís connected to the relay.
    Hereís how it's marked, SHORT TOP, 12V 30A E45 and thereís a T1 also.
    Itís about 1 inch long by Ĺ inch wide.
    HELP!!!!

    Can you provide a picture and or describe where in the circuit this device lives?
    There are "Racers" and there are "Talkers".....which one are you?

    Just a guess. Hard to say without a picture or a circuit diagram, but may be a self resetting fuse.

    It may be a solid state relay but the best would be a picture with the pin or connections shown. You must have this figured out by now though.
