Any idea on the dates yet for the Nats, would love to put in for time off now before someone else does around that time?

Here is a link to the 2014 Nats proposal for Pacific Slot Car Raceway:

In the Nats proposal the dates are listed as April 16 - 19, 2014.

I'm sure that Jim will confirm this or correct me if that has changed - and will be posting a Nats race announcement very soon.

I look forward to seeing you and many other slot car racing friends there next April!!!

Thanks for the quick replies guys, it will be good to see old friends again too. Haven't been to a Nats in what seems like forever, hell I haven't been to a scale race since the Worlds in Chicago, but I'm really looking forward to racing again on a National level.

LOL - Yup! Now that George just drove all the way home after spending 4 days with Jim R at PSCR, home of the upcoming 2014 USRA Div 2 Scale Nats, we need to give George some time to get unpacked and then put his USRA Div 2 Director hat back on so he can give Jim R a call and talk about the Nats dates! LOL

It may sound a bit funny at first - but I really do know that both of them were much too busy at The Flats to have time to sit around with a 2014 calendar and go over the 2014 Nats dates.
But... I thought I'd yank your chains anyway - before anyone else thinks or posts something.

It really does take quite a bit of hashing out any time you try to set dates for any race where race where racers will be traveling. No matter what you do... it seems like it will always be a problem for someone. Between avoiding potential race schedule conflicts, school schedules, peak season air fares & hotel rates, etc... it can be a bit of a challenge trying to accommodate the most people possible.

I'll be setting up my low fare alerts on air fares once it reaches the allowed time frame... meanwhile, I need to start saving up some pesos in the mayonnaise jar!
