Where did the "A cool paint job" thread go?

I think the guy in Moses Lake started it but I can't remember his alias or name. or did Jarius start it?

    I cannot find it...

    You mean this one?

A Cool Body/Paint job picture thread

It was hiding in the 1/24 Scale forum.

I always meant to set up a sub-forum for showing off paint jobs... but haven't come up with a name or gotten around to it.
I wanted to call it "The Paint Booth" - but slotblog beat to it on that one.

Any good ideas for a Paint sub-forum name???

I made it a sticky thread, for now.

Spray Booth? Concourse? Or since the paint is blown on you can call it Blow J.....uhh...Yeah... Spray Booth sounds good.

I like "The Paint Shop" and "The Spray Booth", and I think "Concours Corner" is good, except I think SARN uses that one.

I think I better not use "Blow J..." Besides the obvious reasons...
Also, just in case Triggerman ever decides to come out with some sort of calibrated gadget for your airbrush, then he might decide to use that name... LOL

I know there is just the one very long thread showcasing paint jobs... but if I add a new sub-forum it will not only make it MUCH easier to find, but would also allow it to be split into several separate threads... for different types of slot cars (ie: wing cars, scale cars, model car / hard body, retro, drag, HO, 1/32, etc...).

Any other ideas? Or votes for the 2 good suggestions above?

    LOL Not bad!

As much as I love puns... I don't know about "Paintin' Place".... because I think we have enough soap operas in slot car racing!

In this case - the painter's showcase forum should be a "soap opera free zone".

"Painter's Palette" or maybe even "The Paint Palette" are not bad... although it reminds me a bit more of a painter like Bob Ross painting trees and landscapes while holding his painter's palette, rather then airbrushing.

Hey - maybe I hit on another name idea: "Painter's Showcase". ????

Anyone else have ideas? Or which names already mentioned do you guys like?

    Bueller???

    Slapshot!!!

Long time no see! Where the heck have you been hiding?

And did they let you out? Or did you just sneak into the hospital library to get online???

(obviously you have at least had TV access... at least to the cartoon channel... )

I think your meds must have kicked in!

Or maybe it's the paint fumes! Time to switch to water-based paints!

Um... I'm not sure how that sub-forum title would work out...

I don't think I can even spell "Phinius & Ferb" - let alone "Flactuous Airhead Special Paint Box Symposium"

Let alone the diversity of search engine traffic, from people looking for something besides boring slot car stuff!

KVAN - have YOU been taking the same kind of meds as Slapshot???

Not a bad name... but perhaps potentially a bit too "diverse" - even for The Old Weird Herald???
