KVAN, sorry I didn't post the results when I was there, but I simply ran out of gas by the time we finished B Production. Hermanator and I were on Pacific time during this trip, so we were getting up at 4am our time and getting to the track at 5am, then racing was starting at 7am. Saturday was a Death March. I ran F1, 1/32 ES, and B Production. When I went to my pit to prepare for Open 12, I thought I was going to keel over. I just wanted to go back to Motel 6 and crash, but for some idiotic reason I went out and attempted to race. I managed to get into "magnet mode" with Casey's car...one of those races where you try and try to stay away from a competitive car, but somehow end up tangling over and over....that was awful. Then the next day 1/24 ES was an extension of the previous night. We got back to the motel around 2am, then we were up again at 7am (4am). I just turned 60 a few days before the race and believe me, I am going to think twice about how I approach an event like this. All the early start times were brutal for those of us who travelled from the left coast. That said, nobody else posted any results of the last two races. Not sure who has the paper work, but it would be nice if they tied up the loose ends.

George ... as I look at the podium photos I shot at the event ....... I beg to think what you and Herman would have accomplished on 8 hours sleep.

I have to agree with you, in general, all of the Nats I have attend are sleep deprivation laboratories. My results may indicate I had too much sleep; and I averaged 5 to 5.5 hours.

Still had a lot of fun.

    Take care George.

I will make a few inquiries and see if the results can be found . I had slot car lag for a week after George is right way to long of a day Saturday.

Thanks guys, I appreciate the effort. Always good to see how all my slot car friends did, not just the podium finishers. Tony, thanks for all the photos.

I can certainly relate to the endurance of the event George, mine will be this weekend at the Sano. 4-5 days of "fun", usually takes this 57yr, over weight body, a good week to feel anything close to normal again. Wait until you get there MIC.
