MMW MEMORANDUM …

The 161’ MMW King lived up to its reputation as being one of the toughest tracks to tame in retro racing. Racers chased the track surface all day long, as tire selection ran the gamut from untreated rubber to medium wonder. Further complicating the situation was the fact that different compounds appeared to work better on different sections of the track … MMW owner Mark Kitto was a superb host, making everyone welcome in his facility. Mark was apologetic about his lunch spread not being as big as normal due to an oven malfunction. But, he certainly made-up for it by bringing in some fantastic chicken and pizza that received an A+ from the horde of hungry racers … Cap Henry appears to be just about unbeatable in retro competition this season, entering six BRS races and winning all six contests. Overall Henry has 13 wins, as he has managed victories in all three Ohio-based retro series.
