I plan on making it as long as my body holds out.
I've done so much with so little for so long it seems like I can do anything with nothing at all.

I am going to try to make this event, either on my way home to SoCal from Halifax NS, or just by coming down for the weekend if I have to work two consecutive weeks up there.

Can someone tell me what the braid recess is on the track so I can set up my cars ahead of time?

Also, I will have some Samson Classics products as hand-outs/door prizes.

    Thanks!

I hope to be there Friday morning.

Hey Dennis the track braid depth is .025. The track will open on Thursday at noon for practice if you can get down early. Can't wait to meet you this week.

Any good places to eat up there? My wife and I like going to the places the locals go to. That's where you usually find the best food. Will the raceway be providing any food? Sorry, Mimi spoiled me with her Asian banquets.

    Robert,

Thanks for the info. If I do make it, I will only get in Friday morning. It still depends on my work schedule over the next few days, but I should know for sure by tomorrow.

I'm looking forward to meeting a number of people too, and seeing some familiar faces again.

    Freddie,
There a couple of good spots around the area. Your not gonna find a bad place to eat. I'm not a local but every place we've have went to has been good. Then again I've always went with locals to eat. Lol.

Sometimes we just drive into the place with the most cars. The wait might be a little long but the food is usually good. My son lives in Mt. Laura, NJ and we'll be visiting him and our granddaughter on Sat and Son. He knows some very good places to eat.
