So that's it for the initial schedule and first run at the rules. Please pm me for any obvious errors.

I look forward to seeing you all in September.

    Thanks!

    Thanks Greg.

I'm sorry to see retro go, but understand.

I really thought it would bring out a few more of those retro racers that were always asking for flat track races. Shows you what I know.

The "Lite" version of JRL and BProd should give an avenue for those newbies wishing to join us, an option without the big motor costs required.

What about the September date conflict?

When you say "FK" motors are you allowing the Hawk-7, Evil-9 and Demon in addition to the Hawk-retro FK, TSR D-3, Falcon-7 and other older FK sealed motors? Five less turns per coil than the F-7 for the hot three.

Yes. For ease of teching, any of the enclosed brush FK motors.

You will have a problem getting the TSR to work with the rotation though.

    Mike! Mike! Mike!

As delicious as those chicken nuggets look, IMHO, a trip to Maxwell's without an artery clogging Italian Beef or a dripping down your chin juicy double cheeseburger, is a complete waste of time. LOL

    Greg, do you have pictures?

We are trying to lure George back out here.

I've updated our schedule for the first time. Turns out that there is another race at Mike's on Saturday, Sept 20 and that Saturday 9/13 is taken up, too, with the Sano Warm-up. (And besides 9/13 conflicts with the ISRA Nats in New Jersey.) So we will be racing on SUNDAY, Sept 21. All four regular classes plus 1/32 F1 and/or 1/32 ES if we have time at the end. (The last two informal, ISRA Worlds rules except no rear clearance rule.)

I also fixed the race order, which I'd typo'd. It was supposed to be: JRL, O-12, 1/24 ES, B-Prod, and I fixed this in the rules.

Lastly, I agree with Kevin: I was sorry to see retro dropped, but Rob's survey was very clear that the single biggest wish was that we should drop a class to make the day shorter, so we dropped retro. Similarly, we considered running a class on the King, but there weren't many votes for it.

Thanks everybody, see you all soon!

    Kevin,

Sorry, no pictures, but I'll buy George a jar of peanut butter if he'll come back out to race with us.

Thanks again Greg to both you and Rob for spending the time to keep the inmates happy in this asylum we call GLISRA. Looking forward to getting together and racing with you again this year.

What year is this for GLISRA? Since 08?

    Thanks, Kevin!

I look forward to seeing all of you at the first race on SUNDAY, September 21 at Chicagoland. (Please recall that the raceway will be at it's new location!)

I plan on also racing at the USSCA race on Saturday September 20, also at Chicagoland. I encourage all of you to consider coming out for that race. They'll be racing 4" Nascar, Dirt Late Models, and GTP on the King and 4.5" Nascars, GT-1, and Open 12's on the Flattrack. Rules are available at their thread, currently adjacent to this thread.

    See you all soon!

    Greg
