I spoke with Mike Swiss today. The new raceway is not ready yet, and race 1 of our series (this Sunday), has been cancelled.

I'm sorry about this, and will very much miss racing with you all this weekend. I'll try hard to make the January or February race.

Everyone, Please see the updated rules. We have tried to shorten the day and run some less expensive motors in a few classes to attract more racers to help get them started in flat track racing.

I just wanted to remind everybody that we'll be racing at ChicagoLand on Saturday, March 14 (usual classes) and on Sunday, March 15 A/Team Production, 1/32 ES, and 1/32 ES.

I bought my tickets and will be arriving Thursday afternoon. I can't wait!

I just realized that that is the SAME weekend as the R4 races in Ohio....is Mike going to be open? I know I am already paid to participate in a conference on the 14th, but could make the sunday races. A week either way is better for me.

Thanks! I did that by mistake when I made the schedule, and Mike and I discussed this, and I apologized to him a couple of weeks ago. Our race will run as above, and Mike will be at ChicagoLand for both days. I apologize also to anyone else who is otherwise negatively effected by this. It was very unintentional. I used to race at Tom Thumb years ago, I like and support them, and I'm sorry for the mistake!

With a fair amount of local racers going to the Nat's last week, and a bit burnt out, the race that was scheduled for this weekend is being pushed back to May 16th.

From the E-mails and phone calls, it looks like the May 16th date is a winner, and is good for everyone.

The last race of the season should be a real good one, and may even include an appearance from Mike Kravitz.
