I noticed that the December series race overlaps with the Duels in Dallas, so consider this date tentative for now. Since Shontel has the Nats, it's reasonable to expect that a number of NEUSRA racers will be in Dallas that weekend so we will probably be revising that date.

In the interest of reducing the cost of racing we will be instituting some rule changes for this coming year.
1. Starting with the 9/20 race, only solid axles may be run in any class. No hollow axles alowed, save them for quallifying.
2. Begining with the Northeast Nats and then afterwards for the rest of the season, One Motor G12 and One Motor 15 will be using spec tires, these will be Dougies .550 tires.
3. We will be investigating the potential to introduce a Series spec tire for Pro 15 and 27 Light also. We are contemplating a .615 aluminum hub, no drilling or milling. This type of hub would be significantly cheaper then the current state of the art hub. The use of aluminum over magnesium will be a significant cost saving, as will plain versus swiss cheese machining. As we define the cost for this tire we will let everyone know what we are contemplating before making a final decision.

An early heads up, the December race is being moved from the 13th to the 20th due to conflict with the Dallas race, which a number of our racers are attending.

It seems the consensus on spec tires for Pro 15 and 27 Light is currently is to not pursue that option. So it will be put on the back burner. Spec tires for OMG12 and OM15 will continue. The Spec tires are Thunder Quads on .550 plain hubs and are available at Port Jeff.

SCHEDULE CHANGE
In moving the December race to the 20th to avoid the Dallas race we have conflicts which make the 20th not possible. Also a number of racers voiced concern about being so close to Christmas. So instead we will have the December race on the 6th. I would appreciate some feedback from everyone to get a sense whether this date works. If it doesn't work then we will simply cancel the December race. We might be able to make it up in January since the BB is at the end of February.

Due to conflicts we are adjusting the schedule as follows, the March 18 race is postponed to April 4. The April 18 race will now be held on April 25. No change to the May race.

What is a good body for 27 lite ?
I am 95% I will be there.

Foxtail is a great body, cut it pretty short 130x30 to 135x30 (depends on how short you roller is), 4x4 or 4x5 wingkit. Hope you make it!

Schedule Change: Due to overlap with the Div 2 Nats at Speedzone we are canceling the April 25th makeup race. The next race on the schedule is the May 16th race. We may schedule a June race but a workable date has not yet been determined.
