    YANKEE USRA RULES

    BOX STOCK - Entry fee $15
    National USRA Amature Box Stock rules

    PRO-WIRE 12 - Entry fee $20
    NO Minimum WEIGHT LIMIT
    Cans C-can no modifications except axle slot no strap cans
    Endbell Anything (Aluminum, Plastic) OK
    Magnets Any ceramic QUADS OK
    Ball bearings Motor and Chassis
    Chassis Anything (Aluminum, Steel) OK

    C-12 - Entry fee $20
    National USRA C-12 rules except:
    Magnets NO Limit on mag set-up

    Group 27 - Entry fee $25
    National USRA G-27 rules except:
    Magnets Limited to No more than 10-mag set-up
    Weight Limit 52 Grams minimum
    Chassis Anything (Aluminum, Steel) OK

    TMO - Two Motor Opens - Entry fee $25
    Two motor only, the motors you tech-in with is the only two motors you can run. The armature, can, endbell, or magnets cannot be changed at any time during the race. Changing the brushes, springs, and shunt wire is permitted. Re-soldering the pinion is permitted. A motor cannot be replaced and the car returned to the track for any reason (practice, testing, "just for fun" etc.) once the race is underway. In the case of a motor no longer being able to run under its own power (once brushes, springs or shunts are replaced), the car is no longer allowed on the track, IE: the car is now black flagged. Motor may be ID marked in tech. Motors replaced between tech and the start of the race must be re-submitted for ID mark if ID marking is implemented.

    Tires
    NO SPEED-(RUBBER) TIRES (IN ANY CLASS)

    General
    Where not specified the Yankee USRA will follow National USRA rules.

    Over Gluing Penalties 10 Laps will be deducted from your Total if you swipe up glue from your lane

    Race Format
    All Yankee USRA races will utillize a round-robin format when more than 8 racers are entered.

    Track power Track power will be set at 13.5 VDC minimum, 14.3 maximum.

    Yankee annual membership fee $15

    Track time Track time will be charged at the host track's normal rate $10.


    Track Responsibility's Track to be cleaned the day or night before the race. If possible, cars using fish/natural rubber tires will not be run after the track has been cleaned. Fish-rubber on the track surface is not compatible with the Wonder-rubber tires and glue used by the Yankee USRA wing cars. The host raceway will supply cleaning solvent (of their choice) and rags to clean track after racing. Yankee USRA members will help clean the track after the final race is finished.

    Ray, is falling down on the job, lol. Since no one has posted an update, I will post an unofficial one. This Saturday, March 7, the Yankee series will be at
    Rapid Raceway. If you need any info or want to confirm call Dawn at the Raceway, 860-793-1888.

    Schedule Change!!!!

    I heard from Ray Lee that the April race date has been moved from April 11 to April 4, this Saturday. This is the last race of the current season and it is at Modelville on the the G7.
