My new track (lots of pictures!)

So I waited until the track was done to post any pictures and here goes.
The track is bonded plastic type surface and cnc routed. It was purchased from Fulltrigger dot com (pm me if you need more info on them). The tables I built using 3/4 inch birch plywood and 3/8 mdf for the sidewalls. It is powered with a 30 amp adjustable power supply and uses a trackmate timing system.

Very nice. Looks like a straightforward way to get a track. interesting that you painted the slots ! A timesaver I'd say.
i noticed at braid interfaces the relief for the braid/braid contact has radiuses corners. Just the way it was routed (vertical routing vs 90 deg to the end) or is there a purpose? Also does it leave a void that needs to be closed?

Thanks and I hope you enjoy it immensely.
