    Armature Timing tool?

    Hey,

Does anyone still make the inexpensive clear plastic type Armature timing gauges?

I know there is a digital one now that's almost $200, I just don't need anything that advanced..

    Thanks,

    -TheChad

    My apologies in advance....

Nigel Tufnel: The numbers all go to eleven. Look, right across the board, eleven, eleven, eleven and...
Marty DiBergi: Oh, I see. And most amps go up to ten?
    Nigel Tufnel: Exactly.
Marty DiBergi: Does that mean it's louder? Is it any louder?
Nigel Tufnel: Well, it's one louder, isn't it? It's not ten. You see, most blokes, you know, will be playing at ten. You're on ten here, all the way up, all the way up, all the way up, you're on ten on your guitar. Where can you go from there? Where?
    Marty DiBergi: I don't know.
Nigel Tufnel: Nowhere. Exactly. What we do is, if we need that extra push over the cliff, you know what we do?
Marty DiBergi: Put it up to eleven.
Nigel Tufnel: Eleven. Exactly. One louder.
Marty DiBergi: Why don't you just make ten louder and make ten be the top number and make that a little louder?
Nigel Tufnel: [pause] These go to eleven.

I somehow couldn't help thinking of this and picturing a timing gauge that goes up to 11 when I saw the pics of the DIY gauges above...

I really need to make one...

I hope that wasn't too advanced... LOL

Hi guys, I think this is ideal for what you are looking for:
    https://www.facebook.com/MorgansSlot...13747695325689

It is available from www.won-o-won.co.uk and they ship to the US.

Its made of acrylic/perspex, and the needle fits into the commutator slot for an accurate reading. It's a handy size to fit in a motor box as well.

    AB Slotsport have this one.
It's about as basic as you could get,but it does the job quite well.
Size of a business card and about 10 quid.
