Les Wright injured in motorcycle accident

Got this from another site. I know lots on here are friends of Les.

Les Wright, well-known and universally-liked proprietor of Wright Way Products in London, KY, was involved in a motorcycle accident this past Saturday while on his way to, where else?, a slot car raceway in Tennessee. Another car veered unexpectedly into his lane while he was going roughly 70 MPH on his Harley. That's the bad news...

The good news is that Les escaped with fairly minor injuries, just a few stitches on a hand, perhaps a broken knuckle, lots of bruises, and what he describes as "about 10 pounds of skin missing due to road rash." Which I don't believe is a recommended weight loss approach.

Just spoke to Les on the phone and he's sounds great. He said to tell everyone that he's going to be OK and that his motorcycle looks to be repairable.

I feel certain everyone who knows Les will join me in wishing him a quick recovery from his injuries.
Why do I do this to myself?

Get well soon Les and I'm glad it wasn't worse when some idiot driver decided to turn you into a human crayon. Road rash really sucks.

Wow - I'm very glad that he was not injured worse - but it still sounds pretty awful!

I can't imagine losing "10 pounds of skin from road rash" as being a minor injury... but hopefully that was an exaggeration, and it is very fortunate that it was not much worse.

    Get well soon Les!!!!

Get well soon! You can do your rehab in St. Maarten. Let me know if there is anything I can do.

Les, Get well bud. Like Bonzi said, a case or two of beer in St. Maarten will rehab you back into shape.

Glad to hear that you are ok Les. Did somebody at least yell TRACK!? Since you lost 10lbs of flesh should we be spelling your name Less instead of Les?
