What front axles and tires do you use?

What front tires and axles do you use on a reverse pan JK Cheetah7? Thanks

The plastic JKs that you use for the C11 will fit down between the pans and the chassis. I cannot remember the number. Thoses are the only ones I know of, besides stickers.

Other than adding unwanted weight and raising the center of gravity, front wheels serve no purpose on this type of chassis.
That`s why sticker fronts are the best for these cars.

But if the rules demand that you run front wheels use the JK 8724 hard plastic fronts.
Make sure you run them floating off the track surface, not touching.
This will make the car run smoother and more quietly.

Why are you using the C7 chassis first? The X24 should be the better handling chassis of the 2...

However since you asked, since you have reversed the C7 pans you now have to mount the front tires next to the front uprights. Select a tire that is no more the 1/16" thick and with a slotted rim. Try not to let the tire stick below the chassis and rub the track. Place the tire in the slot between the pan and the upright with the outside of the tire next to the upright. Run a piece of piano wire through the each tire and upright. Secure the ends of the with brass retainers.

    Does this help?

The slick 7 front wheels are real thin and light. They would work great on a Cheetah 7 with pans reversed.

Here are 2 shots. Try the pans forward before installing the fronts to make sure you like the way it handles. Also, make sure the front pin tubes stick through the slots in the front rims otherwise the tubes will be too short... Sorry they are upside down...
