Big Jim Greenamayer use to own Checkpoint and passed away a few years back in Southern California. Neal McCurdy was the owner of RevTec which started out in Southern California also. He and Big Jim worked out of the same shop in the San Fernando Valley producing slotcar arms and motors. When the slotcar business slowed and 1/12 r/c cars were taking off they both went into the r/c motor business. Neal moved to New Jersey to work for Trinity taking the RevTec business with him (which Trinity now owns the RevTec name). After working for Trinity for a while Neal and family moved to the Chicago area and worked for Dremel/Bosch. Neal now is retired and lived in Missouri with his wife.
