Just two weeks (4/9 ) until the last race of the season at Chicagoland Raceway.

Let's make it a big effort to attend and show Mike our appreciation for being there the last 2 years when our series was down to one location.

I for one, have grown to love the " Fiedler Flat, and think it has made me a better racer. I think most everyone else has benefited as well. The closeness of our racing really reflects that.

Doors open at 7:30am. JRL tech closes at 9:30

    Usual classes run in this order;

    JRL
    OPEN 12
    24 EUROSPORT
    BPRODUCTION

Great! I'll be there for this one! Can't wait!

Kevin, I agree exactly concerning your words about ChicagoLand and the Mike's flat track! (Not used to the Fiedler Flat yet.)

Greg wait until you see the cool decals Mike had made.
Why do I do this to myself?

    Don't know anything about decals.

Last decal I used in a slot car was for Yeti chassis and BRP. Should be that nobody even knows what those are, I am so old-fashioned. But thanks to retro, even those old decals are known and would be fun to use again (if I still had any).

Still got a yeti shirt. :-)

Let's see, I might have a Piero Castricone Bandito Racing decal somewhere...

I am going to try and make it out. I might need some help since I have not raced on the track in some time.

Right! You have forgotten more of the go fast tricks on this track than I will ever know. LOL

See you Saturday and bring Dan with you!

    Greg:
I remember when you started racing with us at Raceway Hobbies, the guys kidded you about being a "Factory Backed Yeti Racer" in GT12, Jim would be happy with that advertisement I suppose.
    Thanks, Ron

The first schedule post indicated a May14 race (may be) at Midamerica. I understand that a USSCA Scale race is to also run that day, but may not run on the flat track. Are we ending the season in April or ?

Saw it on a facebook post - now missing.... Lumpy was not sure either.

    They have pulled their race.

We were tentative @ Mid-America pending Roger's reopening, which obviously has happened.

    9 forJRL.

Greg Norris goes wire to wire, to edge out Rob.

Both took turns hooking up wrong on Green. Lol

European ace racer and track builder, Janis Nabokins, in the US, working on the 2016 ISRA Worlds track at Mid-America, takes a solid 5th, including winning the heat, while on Black.

9 again for Open 12, and records got shattered.

David Schlueter broke KVP's single lap record by over a tenth, with a blistering 3.89.

Rob Voska then broke Chuck Gambo's total lap record by a big 5 laps, with an awesome 315.

9 again for Eurosport and more records fell.

    Ricky D broke Chuck's 3.73 lap record with a 3.67.

3 racers broke the total lap record, with Janis absolutely shattering it, with 344 laps, 12 over KVP's record.

    10 for B Pro/A Pro combo.

Records would of fell if not for KVP's big performance last race. Lol

We had our most exciting finish with Ricky D hanging on for the 8ft. win over Mike Mazur.

With Janis in the pits after sucking in an interior, Rob took the A Pro win.

Big thanks to all who came out yesterday.

    Great attitudes all day.

Big thanks to Greg for bringing donuts, my wife Jackie for making brownies, and Rob and KVP for lending out winning cars.

What made the racing so terrific, was there were 4 different winners, and the 4 records set, were by 4 different racers (5 different guys, total).
