2015/2016 NEUSRA Series Schedule

All races will be held at Port Jefferson Raceway, this could change depending on interest from other tracks and their commitment to supporting the series.

February - Barn Burner (last weekend in Feb schedule to be released soon)

May - Worlds 18-22, ceramic classes 13-15

Track will open at 7:00. Tech opens at 8:30 then race OMG12 at 9:00. Practice for all other classes will be 60 minutes after the prior class is raced. All classes will be run in spray glue, except OMO which will be glue. USRA rules with exceptions noted.

One Motor Group12 – We will continue to run OMG12 as we have in the past, all cars are to be consistent with USRA Amateur G12 rules, with the exception of a gear restriction, 9/43, 9/44 or 8/39 and a spec tire. 3 on 3 off.
One Motor 15 – Gear restriction, 9/43, 9/44 or 8/39. Spec tire. 3 on 3 off.
Expert 15 – 3 on 4 off.
27 Light – 4 on 3 off.
OMO – 4 on 3 off.

Entry fee for OMG12 is $15.00
Entry fees for OM15, EXPERT 15 and 27 Light will be $25.00.
Entry fee for OMO will be $35.00
Track charge will be $10.00 per racer per day.
Payout is 40%; 1st-50%, 2nd-30% and 3rd-20%.

Dues will not be charged, but each member must register, full name, phone number and email address.

Due to an oversite multiple birthday parties were booked at Port Jeff on Nov 14, the date of the series race. No other Saturday was available in November so we will run the November race on SUNDAY Nov 15.

The original date for our NEUSRA January race on the 16th overlapped with The Hillbilly Nat's at Tracy Brown's track. A number of our racers, including Doug, are attending to run on the new G21. We will therefore change our race date to the following Saturday, Jan. 23. Tracy's race is shaping up to be a big one.

The NEUSRA race at Port Jeff scheduled for this Saturday, January 23, is cancelled due to weather. It will not be replaced with an alternate date. All Saturdays at Port Jeff are booked. See you at the Barnburner!

We will be adding Hillbilly Box to the NEUSRA series starting at the next race, 3/19. Tires will be the Koford Spec tires and are available at the track. Standard rules, two motor, alum endbell, BB all around, etc etc. The race will be positioned after OMG12 and before OM15. Also at the next race we will discuss and vote on whether to remove the weight minimum on OMG12.
