Marks brand new Gerding King Track is ideal for these cars, The spec motor levels the field and makes it more a test of driving and car setup ability and provides some challenging, clean, close racing!!! If you are a good driver and have been out-.motored in other wing car classes you will like Gp-F , fast enuff to be fun but slow enuff that you have time to react and avoid wrecks. Marshal has time to get car back on before someone comes around again so major pileups are few.

Most popular chassi in koford m500a with pans removed, tire jk8782ppw true to .775" and cut to rim. OS corvette cut front off at 1 1/8" from windshield this leaves the body at 5.5" ...cut at 1 1/8" high at rear. We like .005 wings and spoiler.

The Koford M472-615 series tires are NOT legal for this event.

Don't quote me on it but I think they are a short discount item 15 or 20% so the raceway doesn't get to make the 40% profit so they don't let any one run them.

Just to be clear here. It wasn't the raceway that made this decision. It was put forth to a vote by the regular racers at the track.

We voted against these tires out of respect for the track owner.

We decided It made no sense to financially harm the owner just because we want to be Speed Crazed Morons (tm).

Also, This allows more than one tire manufacture to have a product that *can* and *is* being used to podium in this class at the raceway. I and several others feel this is a "Good Thing"(tm).

The following tires have been made to podium here:

    Alpha 611-WR M or H
    JK 8761PPW or JK-8781PPW
    Koford M472P-WH or WX

There may also be others. These are the ones I am aware of.

28-32 durometer is the usual hardness that will work.

Forgot to mention the tires need to be narrowed to .650 - .670 wide. The Koford's come this width out of the bottle. The others will need to be narrowed to get to work.

After the race is over the track will be available for any one who would like to set a new fast lap for the track. Blue and Orange lanes will be available to apply glue if needed for anyone who wants to lower the record of 2.009 seconds. $100 will be awarded to whoever sets the fastest lap below 2.009 seconds. Track power will be 14.2 volts . Any wing car is eligible.

A few weeks ago Mmw still had not obtained a supply of go fast tires, so since they have not been redilly available to all they are not legal this year

As usual MMW put on a great event, racing was close and fairly clean great to have Roger from Canada and Jeremy from MI. come and join the locals.

Dave Ronsky was finally able to knock Ronnie off the top step,so next year should be good for the rematch.

The # of cars that qualified below the 3 second mark is testament to all the help Ronnie Keener,Dave Ronsky, and Mark Proppe have given without hesitation to all the racers. Thank you gentlemen!

Also would like to thank Mark Kitto for supplying such a great facility.
