We came close to setting some new track records yesterday, but in the end, JRL fast lap was the only one to fall.

I thought Geary's 304 in O12 was impressive, considering his fast lap was only 4.33.

Very consistent running, with IMO, on a whole, guys running Purple and Black better, with the faster cars.

I'm pretty sure we also broke a record for braid ups.

    I don't remember any.

Maybe just a few courtesy rolls.5th

Less track calls = larger lap count.

Actually, there was a track record of sorts: all of the O12 drivers were within 0.1 secs in their fast laps. We're getting faster.

Also, we had a really good time. And the dinner at Bub's BBQ was really fun! Come on out everybody! I'll try to be back in March or April.

Updated time and total lap records from 12/5/15.

Rob Voska's lap total for JRL was equaled, but............. oh so close!

Mike Swiss's Bproduction total was challenged, but still stands. I can't believe that total was done with the esses, awesome!!!!!!!

Only thing to change this week was the ES24 total Chuck Gambo has held for a year. Beaten by 1 lap.

I also believe the braid up record was equaled this month as well. I don't recall any!

Mike Swiss had the flat track @ Chicagoland Raceway ready and wicked fast this past weekend. Track records were set or equaled in all classes.

KVP lowered the JRL fast lap time down to 4.44, but missed the lap total record by one lap, still held by Rob Voska.

Open12 race was a little on the rough side, but KVP was able to top the fast lap time of 4.07sec. held by California, Mike Kravitz, with a 4.01sec lap.

In 24Eurosport, Ricky D. and KVP equaled the 3.73sec lap still held by Chuck Gambo.

In the Bproduction race, KVP was able to take the double record with fast lap of 4.17sec and erase the long held 303 lap total record held by track owner Mike Swiss, with a 308 lap effort.

    Updated records from 4/9/2016.

Mike Swiss and Rob Voska had the "Fiedler Flat" spray glued and ready for some hot ISRA action this month.

With multi ISRA World Champion, Janis Nabokins in the house, records were likely to fall.

Despite the most impressive flag to flag victory by Greg Norris, the JRL records will stand until next season.

In OP12, Rob Voska grabbed the lap total record away from Chuck Gambo by 5 laps with a very impressive 315 total. Dave Schlueter knocked off the two month old fast lap record I held, with a blistering 3.890.

In ES24, Janis Nabokins walked away after obliterating my 332 lap record with an astounding 344 lap total. Ricky D. and I also surpassed the old mark as well. Ricky reset the fast lap mark with a nice 3.679 with Janis just a tic behind with a 3.680.

All other classes remain unchanged, with Mike Mazur just a hundredth off fast lap in B Prod and Janis equaling fast lap in A Prod.

That's it for this season @ Chicagoland Raceway. Next opportunity to get in the record books will be the 10th season of the 2016/2017 GLISRA series.

    Updated records from 11/12/2016!

The only track record to improve from last year, was Rob Voska in A production.

Fresh off his 2016 ISRA Worlds race experience, Rob utilized all the speed secrets learned and spanked the rest of the field with a 303 lap total, eclipsing the old mark of 297. Well done Rob!

FYI in A Pro that was the handout motor, not un-soldered from the car & tires that we were given at the worlds. All I did was change guide height. I didn't run the handout body as it's to nice for me to race! LOL

344 In ES........ man that's a looooooong way away!

What was Chuck's Eurosport fast lap this past weekend?

I thought he had a good time on Green.

I believe that was the 1st time an A-production car beat a B-production car with total laps.

Mid-America have any of those motors left over from the ISRA worlds? If so, A smart racer might pick-up 3-4 of those. They were the bomb!
