Piero is almost certainly correct concerning the Chicago Worlds. I can't picture a rule change prior to them. Long term they will (slowly) allow Ernie to change things. I'll be experimenting with tape. :-)

After begging for 4, when they first came out, and having to get 2 of those with the aluminum pan, I ask my dist. (Eagle) every week, when I order, with zero luck.

It's hard to get excited about a production chassis with very little production.

Maybe the "Commercially Available" provision needs to apply until they are available on a regular basis...

Is the above a real question?

In case it is, Eagle is a distributor.

They only make money when they distribute/sell stuff.

I'm surprised with as much attention you've paid to all things Mossetti chassis related, you missed that there were a limited # that got sold in the US, divied up among the distributors.

IOW, they got less than they wanted.

Certainly Eagle did, hence why I could only get 4.

These are $12 net chassis, not Rolex watches.

Eagle could afford to buy as many as they needed.

Eagle has never got in a 2nd shipment, AFAIK.

If they are readily available, and it is a case of Eagle dropping the ball, Ernie can chime in, and I'll gladly apologize and get on Eagle's case to order them.

Depends what the official meaning of 'Production' is - 100pcs? 500pcs? 10,000pcs?

This isnt targeted at this chassis but for slot cars in general what determines a " production " chassis as in amounts?

I think this needs to be defined, is there anything under ISRA rules that gives a guideline ?

This will determine any future chassis
