    Looking for

Ok im going back a few years a go. Back in the early to mid 90's there was a product available through the disturbers. They were controller grip pads. They had a front and rear thin neoprene rubber pads that had sticky tape on them. You put them on the front and back of the controller handles. They came in florescent neon colors. I think they were by Dan's RC products. I have tried to Google it but come up with nothing.
Anyone remember them? Any info would be great or if any of you old timers have a set laying around, shoot me a PM.

    Thanks Scott

Is this something like you are looking for?

Hogue Zombie Handall Grip Sleeve Glowing Zombie Green

Many years ago (when my son raced), my son had used these gun grips on his slot car controller.

They looked and felt great, and did not have any of the problem with tape or glue getting sticky like tennis racket grip tape can tend to do.

The only trick is getting them on the handle the first time, if you have a "black box" type electronic controller.
On my controllers, I had plugs installed in the cords, so I could swap black boxes & handles... so it was no problem.
But if no plug, you might have to remove the wires to install the grip the first time.

Once installed, it just slips down easily when you need to get inside the controller for cleaning or maintenance.
(tip: I rubbed a dab of soapy water on my finger on the inside, to help slide it on the handle. Dish soap works good)

I have had these listed on OWH's Slot Car Shop in black, but I added some in purple, pink, and "glowing zombie green"
(as pictured above), for those who might like the choices of colors.

Here's a link to the controller grips on OWH's Slot Car Shop:

No Paul, they were a two piece soft neoprene. They were sold for RC car controllers or slot controllers. REH had them back in the early 90's. The company is most likely out of business. was just trying to see if any one had a set laying around from back in the day.

    Thanks for the reply.

Well... since the items you are looking for were by a company no longer in business... are no longer being made... and may no longer be available...

I guess I was just trying to help by posting an alternative or similar solution to accomplish the same thing with something that IS still available.

But if that doesn't butter your parsnips... then best of luck finding your unobtanium sticky tape pads.

I purchased one of those Hogue Handle Covers, and I found that it was too large for my Handle. But I also couldn't find any other suitable; so next will try Tennis Racket Handle Tape with holes. I'll post back on those results
