    Hi Roger,
I'm glad to see you're open again! Are you going to have a dragstrip? Thanks, and good luck in your new endeavor.

You don't. They ran it as a 3 lap crash and burn.

Saying the MONSTER 1/24 scale track,Bloomington,IL. can't be turn marshaled & running races 3 laps crash & burn is nonsense. This "3 laps c&b" was done by the bumbling previous owners & their core of racers being too lazy to go to the end turn to turn marshall during races/retrieve cars during practice,etc.--often leaving early and/or wandering off to cig. breaks. Also, an ignored Trix-Trax lap counter just sits there seldom used, etc. This track even has a step-over bridge near the end turn.... how many king tracks have this? Saving this old track or not, this new owner R. Schmitt is (I'm told) the best thing to ever happen to this Bloomington,IL. slot car raceway. Dan Bremer,Peoria,IL. bremerslotcars@yahoo.com

Facebook posting announces the GRAND OPENING for the new Naperville store next week on the 17 Feb 2016. Looks like the sales counter, the oval and the old flat track are running.....maybe more.
