Hey Roman
Are the pro Gr12 guys going to get any track time Sat night after am qualifying? Beings they dont race till Sun.
Does anyone know the going rate for a cab from BWI (Baltimore Airport) to the comfort inn? And is this the best place to fly into?
Just don't want to get taken...If you know what I mean.

Roman just out of curiosity around what time is the Spec 15 race going to start on Saturday?

Good luck to all at this years Nats. I just purchased a house (signed the papers this morning) and that financial outlay is going to prevent me from going. I won't be there, but my 27 program will so I hope all those Long Island guys have their loaner motors ready!!!
I think I will make it to the NE nats at PJ in Oct.

Don't know a specific fare but am sure that the Van services such as "Super Shuttle" are definetly cheaper. You can reserve and get a far quote on their web page www.supershuttle.com

That would be a USRA call ( it's their race) but I suspect that Tech will open around 9AMOriginally posted by J.Sohl

Roman and J. Sohl,
Yes, sign up and tech will start at 9:00 am. Spec-15 racers, make sure that you have sent your chassis registration sheet in for your chassis. Also make sure that YOU are the person that is racing the chassis that you have sent the registration in for. In other words, the registration is NON-TRANSFERABLE. If you have not sent it in by Aug. 1 then bring it with you. Also racers, make sure that you are a National USRA member BEFORE you get to the Nats. You may do so by using the PayPal sign-up on the USRA website or mailing your $10.00 check to me at:
National USRA
3116 Olympic Dr.
Springfield, IL. 62704
If you wait until the Nats to sign up, it will cost you $15.00. I am going to be EXTREMELY busy this year and will not have much time to sign people up for the USRA. I will accept membership sign ups until Aug 1 as well. After that, you will have to pay the $15.00.
Roman give me a call. I sent you an e-mail last week and have not heard back from you.
Jeff Bechtel/Former Int-15 World & National Champion
Thanks for the info Roman, Florida team should be in on Thursday.
See you at The Track.
It's getting close... fellow Geeks & Geezers...

Seems I have one of the first Koford Spec 15 Chassis (#04) that was built. It was shipped to my dealer prior to engraving and tagging. I still have not received the tag so that I could registure the frame. How can I fix this before the Nats (w/o buying a new frame)?? If Mike Swiss could contact me or contact Lou Pirro I would be very greatful.
Thanks,
wjd
Lou called me and a header card/registration is in the mail to him.
I'm thinking of flying to the Nats on the weekend of the 17th to have some fun and just watch the race. Can anyone tell me which would be the closest and most convenient airport to fly into?
Thanks...

Trolling the boards and fanning the flames once again...at least for a day or two.
Thanks Eric. Can you tell me how far is BWI from the track and are the majority of the guys going to be staying at the Comfort Inn thats listed as the official motel of the Nats?
