    2017 Rulebook

Will there be an updated 2017 rulebook for D2 anytime soon? The 2016 version is not complete with regards to components.

Guy like me needs 6 months to get ready for a race, lol.

The question you should be asking is not only will it be available but will ALL the typos and ambiguous rules be cleared up. The rule book should be free of the typos and ambiguous rules that have existed for, at the very least, 2+yrs. Racers should not have to guess at what the rules mean so their equipment will pass tech or get booted at the last minute.
I've done so much with so little for so long it seems like I can do anything with nothing at all.

I am not looking to finger point or dig up the past. Was just curious.

Heck I will volunteer to help clean it up and work with whomever to get it up to date and accurate.

Matt it has nothing to do with the past. All the problems I've highlighted still exist. I volunteered to fix it over 2 years ago, since I have 7 years of military technical manual writing experience that I thought would come in handy, but I was told "no thanks". I just hope they get it right.
