I agree with Don thanks fro not changing the rules from last year, maybe I'll get a chance to run my blueprinted FK motors. This year I plan on running both classes, hopefully.
I've done so much with so little for so long it seems like I can do anything with nothing at all.

Bill, last year I asked you to consider making the rear tire diameter have no minimum like the year before. You also have no min. on the nascar class. Any chance you can make it no min. for the rears on Indy ? Thanks , Tim

Tending to agree with Tim on Indy with No min on tire size. It would simplify things I'm sure. But whatever you say Bill☺ rules are rules.

Tony and I have been working very hard maintain the same basic rules every year. We thought that we had a lock on the rules for this year race. However, in conversations with Tony and on advice and recommendations from others, I am announcing the following changes for this years race:

    1. Effective immediately I am raising the rear clearance back up to .063. I am doing this because there is some indication that the track is experiencing some wear and possible damage.

    2. Effective immediately there is no longer a minimum diameter for rear tires on Indy cars. I am doing this so tires can be reused saving racers money. However, the .063 rear clearance now applies. If the tires are too low, even a hair, you will have to change them.

    3. After much conversation, Tony and I agree that we will continue with the policy of not allowing ball bearings in any endbells, regardless of class.

Thank you for your requests, suggestions and recommendations. Tony and I take all of them seriously before we render a decision.

See you all on 20 May for the 6th Annual Gaithersburg 1100...

Changes have been annotated above in post #1 in RED...
