    Aluminium vs steel wing chassis

After browsing what is currently available I have seen that there are so many variations of wing car designs. Iím more interested in the aluminium vs steel. Aluminium being lighter and steel being stronger. I see koford make these fat centre rails as well.

Is there any other benefit to running aluminium over steel than weight? Do they bite better?

The Aluminum ones are plated so you can solder parts to the frame. Lose the plating, scrap the frame.

It has more to do with what's legal for the class you're running. If its a USRA type class it states what the class uses. If its an outlaw class when you would most likely run the lightest chassis.
