I have already posted a similar request on social media.
I have a couple of magnet air gap slugs (.533" & .579") that I purchased in 2007 from an Ebay auction. Does anyone still make them and if so, who, and in what sizes?

Is Goat Boy still involved in the slot car scene?

Why do I do this to myself?
Rob, you show me nothing
Your link portrays a completely different type of air gap tool altogether.

Sorry, your right. Those set the depth also. I can't find any anymore.

You can make slugs pretty easily on a hobby lathe.
Part off a piece of 5/8 "cold rolled steel, drill a 5/64" hole and press it onto a 2mm drill blank.
Put it back into the lathe and turn to the diameter you want.
That spacer can be made separately and then added to the shaft if you really need it.
Sounds like an ideal project for a hobby lathe - must be someone over there has one.

Ian is still around IL, but not doing to much with slot cars. Try looking up ian tomlinson on Facebook with job title CNC Machinist.
