K1025.com featured Slot Car, Inc. at Klassic Arcade in Gobles, Michigan. Slot Car Inc. is opening 3 race tracks: a 1/24 scale quarter mile drag strip, 1/24 scale road course and an 8-lane HO road course.



Taking you back to the basement of your youth, Slot Car Inc. is waving the green flag on 3 indoor racing tracks downtown Gobles.

This Winter, Gobles has more fun to offer than snowmobiling the Kal-Haven Trail or trying to get the high score at Klassic Arcade. Slot Car Inc. is opening 3 race tracks: a 1/24 scale quarter mile drag strip, 1/24 scale road course and an 8-lane HO road course.

Don't worry if your mom threw away all the great cars you used to have as a kid, you can rent one and the shop also sells cars and all the replacement parts you need to keep them going at top speed. They are planning on hosting organized events with entry fees and prize money offered.

Drivers came from as far away as Detroit and racked up some laps at a special pre-opening event in October and soon everyone can join the fun.

Slot Car inc downtown Gobles will officially open it doors on November 17th from Noon to 5pm
Our starting regular hours are:
Saturday & Sunday noon to 5pm
Hours will be subject to change and hours will vary on race days.

Nice to see.. I hope them success and I'll sure stop by when up in that area.

In my opinion what is missing now days, at least around these parts, is somewhere to just go and play on a Saturday afternoon. I have three nice tracks within 1/2 of me and they were not open on Saturday. Nice tracks, good folks and have great races on the scheduled days. Just not a normal business where you can go after work or on a Saturday/Sunday whim for a couple hours.
