This race is the same weekend as Flexiploosa race bad the group f race at Mark's Model World.
So no HSP COT NASCAR or RTR COT NASCAR. The HSP body has been used in the past 1100s and the RTR is a new design made to compete with the O/S COT. Too bad it would have been nice to have a choice as far as the COT bodies go ( with 4 choices of NON-COT bodies) since that's what most people run in this race. Yes I know that the JK Toyota has been run and won over the COT cars but not usually. I also agree that the FlexiPaloosa race is that weekend and you may lose some western Pa. and Ohio racers since the Palooza is in Canton. I still hope to make it if all goes well.
I've done so much with so little for so long it seems like I can do anything with nothing at all.
Expect a bunch of local SZ racers to attend. We've added a S16d class to our Monday night racing so more guys have cars available.
Anyone interested in buying the PS 4007 FK American arm? They are available from ProSlot. I was quoted a price of $31.50. Anyone interested, please contact your raceway, SpeedZone, or ProSlot... wjd
Just read that the 24 hour Enduro in Ohio set a new record of over 19,000 laps using the new ProSlot PS 4007 Scorpion arm. The 4007 was the required motor and all 8 team raced the entire 24 hours with no motor failures. All that and with only 2 motors per team...
Those were special built versions with ball bearings in the can and endbell. Expect less run time with the standard end bell and can bushings, even with the American built arm. To put things in perspective, my 4002FKs typically wear out the bushings before the Chinese arms go up in smoke.
