    Paul, what's going on here?

Paul, I just got on OWH. the board has no new posts. In the user information box, it shows 1 online member (me) & 1342 "Guests". Who are guests & how are they calculated? Having that many people reading old posts here at the same time sounds ridiculous to me. But in what time zone, on what planet? I know these "guests" didn't just appear, but I'm wondering if the board software is responsible for creating them.
I like long walks, especially when they're taken by people who annoy me.

A ton of "bots" spiders, and crawlers are always searching & indexing web pages... and especially on forums like this.
The bot numbers can be high, since there are a bazillion pages.

You notice them here because the forum software includes the number of visitors... where most sites don't.

Also... it will display many actual viewers as guests, simply because many people don't bother to login.
