There was a guy on Ebay who did retro Ts with vintage names like COX, Russkit , etc. I didn't buy one.

Maybe someone will design a shirt that promotes the hobby in general and then tracks order them with their raceway name on it. And instead of using them as a profit maker, give them away as race prizes.
One of my pet peeves(I have a few) is the design of most of the race event shirts. You will not find the words "Slot Car" anywhere on them. Would it hurt to put a guide shoe on the car pictured or show a track lane with slot and colored stripes? I will wear my Slots-A-Lot shirt to the supermarket for the sole purpose of promoting the hobby.

The shirts I am working on won't have a particular slot car shop on them, unless it is requested. They will in fact feature the slot car hobby with the words slot car on them. I'll have several designs available. I just need to make some pictures.

If the shirt is meant to promote the hobby it should have the one feature I feel sparks the memory of anyone who has ever raced on a commercial track. The depiction of the slot with the colored stripes. It is an image that is unique to our hobby. Whether they last raced in 1965, 1995 or 2005, they will recognize that image.

And this thread needs to be moved.

I have also had several ideas for Slot Car T-Shirts, to help promote the hobby by actually making something fashionable, retro, & cool looking...
as well as to be the coolest looking geek at the races...
But I just haven't gotten around to it yet.

The existing Slot Car T-Shirts I have seen on eBay, Amazon, etc. are...
well not quite what I was thinking of doing...
and perhaps not really cool enough to wear anywhere but at the track.

I have some of what's already available on OWH's Slot Car Shop...
which is an affiliate of Amazon, that you can check out to see what is already out there.

I'll be interested to see what you come up with.
I'm sure there's room for both of us to come up with something new! LOL

Thread moved to main Slot Car Talk forum.
