R&C Speedway will be hosting a fall/ winter racing series Presented by

Absolute Solar and Energy Solutions. LLC

We will be racing Saturday evenings starting in November and finishing up in March with a weather make up date. We are going to run three divisions 360 Sprints and Old Time Modified that will race for points and the championship hardware. The third class will rotate every race and will be for fun.

Track will open at 3:30pm with tech at 4:45pm with racing starting at 5:00pm sharp.*

The 360 Sprint and Old Time Modified point champions will receive a beautiful
8" x 10" Wall Plaques for 360 sprint and Old Time Modified 1st Place
6" x 8" Wall Plaques for 360 sprint and Old Time Modified 2nd and 3rd Place
3" x 4" Box Plaques for positions 4 to 8

Entry Donation is $10.00 including pit pass.

Wanted to do a update on ASSCC/ R&C Speedway

I had meetings with my team of doctors for my health care for the future. After many great discussions with them and Cheriel

We have decided to postpone the final three races of the 2019-2020 Friends & Family series, 2020-2021 Friends & Family series races to the fall of 2021. We will finish the 2019-2020 then and start our new series.

We plan to reopen our special needs program including having a couple fundraising races starting in January 2021 for fun. Depends on if I am released to return to work. We are very hopeful that we can resume our programs and fundraising in January.

I wanted to do a update on ASSCC/ R&C Speedway.
WE will not be having any races until the fall of 2021.
The great news is we still have all of our supporters in place. For our series racing and special payout races. We will finish our 2019-2020 series at the beginning of the racing season plus start our new series for 2021-2022.
The plan is to reopen our special needs program in April as long as my health continues moving forward.

ASSCC is the only IRS recognized slot car charity in the USA. Our unique programs enable, challenge our clients to develop many new habits and skills
Here is one of our programs.

Awareness Speedways special friends program is moving forward with tremendous results. Our special friends have excelled at beating their lap records almost every time they run on the track. ASSCC keeps rotating cars until we find a car that our special friends excel with while coaching and mentoring our special friends. While everyone is having fun while chasing the lap record for their lane. We are advancing the voltage to challenge our special friends to continue to set lap records. This will force our clients to adjust to the change presented, in the slot car being faster, handle different and the controller responding quicker do to higher voltage.

To accomplish laps including a lap record on our track it involves many challenges and benefits for our participants:
• Therapeutic benefits (eye hand coordination, motorization skills, cognitive skills, assessment skills, communicate with officials and other members of the group as to when they wreck the car they are running so power is turned off as to not cause any more cars to crash, etc)
• Behavioral benefits (socialization skills ,fellowship, feel safe in a competitive group setting, must have good attitude during the week to be able to participate in the groups scheduled event, etc)

ASSCC has other unique programs for special needs adults and children.
• Specialized educational programs
• Specialized safety programs
• Most importantly, every one looks forward to getting together with the staff of ASSCC to feel like family while having fun as an individual or in a group setting.

These races have a companion class with them.
R&C has two races this year were sprints, midgets from SCRA Slot Car Racers Association will be legal to run with us that evening with minor changes on car.
We have loaner cars available. Just need to reserve one for the evening.
R&C is going to finish our 2019-2020 Absolute Solar and Energy Solutions Friends and Family series within the first two races of the 2021-2022 seasons.
Our 2021-2022 Absolute Solar and Energy Solutions Friends and Family series has better awards and a more diverse schedule. It will be nine races with a one-race drop for an eight race series. Scheduled are time trial events with, heats and features, Double point's nights.
We have loaner cars available. Just need to reserve one for the evening.
For a very reasonable donation of $10.00.
The two headline divisions are 360 Sprints and OTM with a rotating non-point class.

R&C Speedway/ASSCC would like to welcome back Absolute Solar and Energy Solutions for the second year supporting our fundraising races.
We will be racing Saturday evenings starting in November and finishing up in March with a weather make up dates.
We are going to run three divisions 360 Sprints and Old Time Modified that will race for 2022-2023 points and the championship hardware.
The third class will rotate every race and will be for fun.
Nine races with one drop for eight race series.
This year we have added some special races see schedule and general rules for race information.
The proceeds from this racing series will benefit ASSCC, to support and promote their programs for the intellectually disabled children and adults.

The 360 Sprint and Old Time Modified point champions
Will receive a beautiful
1st Place 8" x 10" Wall Plaques for 360 sprint and Old Time Modified
2nd place. 6"x 8" Wall Plaques for 360 sprint and Old Time Modified
3rd Place 4"x 6" Wall Plaques for 360 sprint and Old Time Modified
3" x 4" Box Plaques for positions 4 to 8

Qualifying , 20 seconds on orange lane, If decided by racers.
(Qualifying is Time, then laps, location on track if needed)
A Or A and B mains as needed. Total laps overall winner.
Time 1:30 on (Racing) and 1:30 off (Between segments).
