Thin brass stock for making guide flag clips

Years ago I was able to get the thin brass stock/strips to make my own guide clips. Have been unable to locate the thin .014 or .015 brass strips even on K & S site or Eagle or any distributor... The 1/4" wide stock seems to be the smallest width that they have and that does not fit the guide flags.....

Anyone know where I can obtain that? Yes, I know various people make it already done. However, I like to make my own

    thanks for any guidance....

I use the 1/4 stuff and just trim it down. It cuts easily with regular scissors.

Unfortunately my hands are not steady so cutting them is not an option... Thank you for the response

Take apart old braid and reuse the brass piece to construct clips.
