Free Standing at least 4 feet from a wall. Drag racers are a portly bunch....lol
I'm about to set up shop and bring my drag track out of storage. Looking to bring more tracks into the space so I'm considering pushing the drag against the wall like I see in many other places. I'm wondering if that makes a big difference in the end for the racer. Starting setting up the first of April and I hate moving tracks around after I've got them set and running. What to do????

Yeah....I had sorta decided on giving walking room down both sides.
Against the wall is the most space efficient. Free standing splits the room in half. Just have padding on the wall for the last 50% of the track.
Slots-A-Lot has it against the wall. A little tight next to the King but it works. Even with some of the big boys that show up on race night.
For the Summer there has been Sunday drag racing at SAL. Call first. 516-616-7075.
