    We will be running 3 races/classes, but only one set of chassis rules.
    For the Legends class we will use the below AWRA Outlaw Legends rules with the following Slot Car Raceway changes.
    Only 1/8" axles front and rear
    .062 clearance
    No cut down guides
    Interior is required in Legends and GT1 and can have wing car style driver in Sportsman.

    The Sportsman and GT1 classes will only need to change the body, you can use the same chassis/chassis rules for all 3 races.
    GT1 first race on the Hill Climb
    Sportsman second race on the King
    Legends last race on the Hill Climb

    Bracing is permitted. Motor mount may be cut off. Motor must be mounted 90 degrees to the rear axle. Drilling,
    grinding, bending, cutting of the chassis is permitted. Chassis must remain as a “one piece” unit. No “flexi”
    style multi-piece modifications are permitted. Additional weight is permitted. LVJ Chassis must have the front
    screws assembled with Lock-Tite (or equivalent) and be tight to the chassis. Offset axle bushings are permitted.
    No ball bearings
    LVJ Chassis must have the front screw assembled with Lock-Tite (or equivalent) and be tight to the chassis.

    Width & Wheel Base:
    Width: 3 1/4” centered with no offset or excessive slop. Width is to be measured by any commercially
    available manufacturer’s tech tool. (ie. Koford, Parma, Champion, etc.)
    Wheel Base: Maximum of 3 1/8” center to center of the axles.

    Clearance:
    .062 clearance measured form under the motors end bell back including the crown gear.

    No American armatures or neo magnets. Single ceramic magnet only. Magnets may not be shimmed or glued.
    Motor must be mounted in line at 90 degrees to the rear axle. JK Motors must be mounted with motor ID stamp
    visible. Motor may be tack soldered in place.
    This list of motors is not compiled to mean all are equally competitive. Some motors are included to allow
    novice or young racers to be included without becoming an obstacle to experienced racers. We trust parents to
    consider this when selecting for young children and help provide a fun day of racing for all.

    Guide Flag:
    No cut down guides, otherwise any flag that is commercially available. No shortening of the guide flag. Cutting excess above the nut is
    permitted.

    Tires & Axles:
    Front: 1/8” axle and 3/4” diameter front tire. Hollow axles are allowed. Independent front axle
    combinations are allowed. O-ring fronts are accepted. No rounding, curving, coning or painting of foam rubber
    tires.
    Rear: 1/8” solid or hollow axle with any brand or diameter tire providing the required minimum
    clearance.

    Gears:
    48 pitch only. Beveled gears are permitted.

    Body:
    Any commercially available legends style full fender coupe, sedan or coach (1940 style or earlier) WOMP
    body. Bodies with added roof spoilers are not legal regardless of whether the body was manufactured in that
    configuration. Running boards cannot be modified from the stock configuration to facilitate lowering of the
    body. Fenders may not be trimmed to excess. Body must be painted a minimum of 1 color and have numbers
    displayed on three sides of the body. (ie. roof, doors, trunk, hood) Interior is required in Legends and GT1 and can have wing car style driver in Sportsman.

    Any Legends, GT1 or Sportsman body listed in the AWRA rules will be legal with the exception of the Late Model Wedge, it's not legal to use.
    For local racers, P.A. has some Ford legends and Corvette GT1 bodies in stock.
    For any body that P.A. doesn't have your best choice is to order them from here

    GT1 Tech 11 - 11:30 AM
    GT1 race 12 noon on the Hill Climb
    Followed by Sportsman on the King and Legends back on the Hill Climb
