As part of our continuing effort to bring wing car racing in the Northeast closer together the Yankee Series and NENASRA will be hosting a season ending combined race on April 17, 2021 at Port Jeff Raceway. The synchronization of rules and classes was done in collaboration between the two series. We will be racing 5 classes as follows.

One Motor Box / Amateur Box - last year the two series synchronized the rules for this class. 60 gram minimum weight and pinion restricted to 9t 72 pitch. For all NASRA rules go to the NASRA Facebook page.

Pro wire 12 / Hillbilly box - Yankee effectively runs HBB cars in this class, while aluminum chassis and quad mags are allowed in PW12 no one actually races these components so that running to HBB rules will not be a problem.

Two Motor 15 - There is no comparable Yankee class for this class so it will be run as it is run in NENASRA. Although hopefully some of the Yankee racers will race in this class also.

Cobalt 12 - Both series run to the same rules, we have agreed that there will be a two motor limit for the race.

Group 27 / 27 Light - We will run this class to 27 Light rules, in the Yankee series where multi magnets are allowed no one actually races anything but singles and although aluminum chassis are allowed the Yankee racers typically are running 27Light cars in this class. So running to 27 Light rules was acceptable.

Further details on this race will be available later but we hope to make it a major recurring event and a fun conclusion to the respective series seasons

The date of the combined NENASRA/Yankee race has been changed from 4/24 to 4/17. A week earlier to avoid conflict with the scale nats.
