    looking for a spur gear --80 pitch

    Hello all...

    Was curious if anyone can help me find out if there are any 80 pitch 48 tooth 3/32" axle gears anywhere that can be bought???

    I know slick 7 used to make them and the part number was s7-442-48
    and
    voki did advertise them at one time, but can't find any venders or anyone online that might have them...


    Any help would be awesome..

    In today's world tires are to short to run that large of gear. In ES classes the gear can't hang below the chassis. Many chassis run .650 and smaller tires when they wear.
    You could try a smaller pinion (5T 1.2mm shaft) if you are looking for a ratio.
    Maybe there is some NOS gears out there somewhere to help with your project.

    I forgot all about this request. I'll check and see what I have. I know I have several in the 50s. Is metal OK?
    I've done so much with so little for so long it seems like I can do anything with nothing at all.

    Ya I have the 47 and 49 tooth from JK. I was hoping someone still had the 48 tooth out there somewhere... I used them in 2006 ISRA worlds and have only one left from then.... I was hoping to find more 48 tooth because when you match it up
    with a 8 tooth 80 pitch... You get the same ratio as 7-42 but smoother feeling car...

    Was hoping just for plastic spurs..... Sonic I know still makes the 48-50 tooth metal....
