The ECFS will hold its first annual Flexi Cup 2021 @ Fast Tracks in Bally , Pennsylvania from November 20th to November 21st. The racer who has the best overall finish in each class will be awarded the 2021 Flexi cup along with their name engraved on the Fast Tracks wall plaque as the 2021 Flexi cup champion.

2021 Flexi Cup Rules



East Coast Production

Chassis - Must be a stamped steel chassis. No aluminum pans allowed. Chassis must not be altered from its original design. You may interchange pans as long as they are of the same manufacturer. You may jig/grind the rear axle holes for clearance. Bite bar diameters may be changed but must not be switched between manufacturers. 3/32nd axles only. No hollow axles. Oilites only .No ball bearings allowed. Bracing is allowed such as motor box bracing , chassis uprights and guide tongues. Floating or non floating pin tubes are allowed. Tape and lexan is allowed. Max width will be 83mm 047 clearance

Motor - Handout Mid America Eagle only. No modifications except you may notch the can for axle clearance

Body - Ralph Thorne Honda NSX only ( 005 , 007 , or 010 )

Must have 3 numbers located anywhere on the body. Must have clear windows and be painted opaque. Front wheel stickers must be present. Body should be cut on the cut line for the front bumper and the rear bumper must retain an 1/8 of an inch Must have a 3D molded painted Interior. Interior must cover any visible chassis. No added aero allowed such as wings , diaplanes etc. Tape , lexan and mylar is allowed. No rear height rule. ECFS reserves the right to reject any body that does not conform to our standards.

Gears - Any gears. Gears may not hang below the chassis.

Tire - Open tire rule. No speed rubber no minimum size

LMP-FK

Motor - Sealed or unsealed Proslot 4002FK motor only. Can must not be altered. Chinese 4002FK armature only. You may tie , epoxy and balance the armature. Comm may be cut as well. Stock 4002FK magnets only. You may NOT hone the magnets. Oilites in the can and endbell only. You may glue and solder in the oilites. You may change the brushes and springs. Hardware must be the Proslot stock or copper version. Arm shafts must not be cut.

Body - Ralph Thorne Orca only 005 , 007 and 010

Must have a 3D interior. Must be painted opaque and have 3 numbers. Must have front wheel stickers present. Any windows on the body must be clear. Rear of the body may be cut out. There is no rear end height rule. Body must be cut on cut line and must retain a vertical lip on front bumper. No diaplanes allowed No added aero allowed 005 , 007 and 010 thickness allowed. The ECFS reserves the right to reject any bodies that do not conform to our rules.
