Another controller problem.

I have a third eye Predator 2 - 3000MP which works fine but if I set the sensitivity to minimum and start to pull the trigger nothing happens. So what I do is pull the trigger till it's just making contact with the resistor thing and then keep turning the the sensitivity pot till the car starts to move and that is how I set my minimum sensitivity.

Now what could cause this problem as it used to work perfectly well with the sensitivity pot on the lowest setting. It's still a perfectly usable controller. Could it be a faulty pot?

Trigger bearings / bolt lose or sloppy / contact pad getting lose or worn & wiper lifting off the bands?
POssible to have a worn out area in your pot also. Email Howard & have him fix it right after checking it over well yourself. His prices are very fair.

I did email Howard and this is his reply. That's just the way it is, the sense goes very low and has plenty7 or margin
and is usable. Nothing can be done, this is out of production for many years.

Buy a used Carsteen or DiFalco.

I use to have a difalco but sold it a few years ago to buy a truspeed controller as a backup to my third eye.
