    NENASRA 2022/2023 Season Schedule

    2022/2023 Season

Non-series races being held at Port Jeff Raceway during the 2022/2023 season are as follows:

    October 21-23 Northeast Nats.
    March 3-5 Barnburner.

Contact the Doug or Chubby at the raceway for details on these races.

The NENASRA series schedule for 2022/2023 is as follows:

    December 3
    January 14
    February 11
    April 15
    May 13

Classes run will be OMB, HBB, TM15 and 27L

    Entry Fees :
    OMG12 $20
    HBB $25
    TM15 $30
    27 Light $40
    Pit pass $20

There is no race in November because of the NASRA Nats being held from the 15th to the 20th at Mach 1 raceway ,Spout Spring VA. Many of our racers will be attending and it’s impractical to plan for a race in the same month.

For rules please see NASRA.racing, with the following local exceptions:

OMG12- 55 gram minimum weight. No gearing restrictions. No Cahoza motors or motor parts.

    Track opens at 8:00 am.

Any questions call Doug or Chubby or post them here and they will be answered.

    IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

Beginning at the next series race (12/3) we will be running to a shortened tighter race schedule. After discussion with Doug and Joe it was agreed that the days racing schedule has opened up too much. The track opens at 8:00, open practice starts then, at 9:45 the power goes off, no exceptions, at 10:00 OMB is raced. After that race practice opens for 1 hour, at the end of that hour power off ( no exceptions). Then HBB is raced. We will follow that schedule for every class. The times will be run by the computer. One hour between races for practice. Except for the first open practice from 8:00 to 9:45. If you have a lot of stuff to test then get to the track at 8:00. Once the power goes off after a race you have one hour to get ready for the next. Tech opens after power goes off and you must enter you car within 10 minutes of the power going off. We will be getting the cars too the line shortly thereafter. Under this race schedule we will be able to race more classes then just OMB and HBB, so bring your 15 and 27L programs also. I know we have talked about this before and have never able to make it stick. This time is different. Complaining about it on race day will be useless. Doug plans on following a similar schedule for the Barnburner, except that practice time will be an hour and a half due to larger attendance and more traveling racers. So get ready to be more efficient with your time.
