    Lap Charts

I finally got around to posting the lap charts from the races.

    http://www.socalusra.com/2003Slugfest/index.htm

Paul, feel free to copy the pages onto your site if you want to.

And before anyone jumps down my throat about corrections, these are completely unedited results straight off the computer.

    More Flats Coverage

Kirk Livernash invited the local newspaper, The Puyallup Herald, to stop by at "The Flats" and they did a very nice write-up on the front page of the sports section of the local newspaper.

This sort of coverage is essential for getting new people exposed to our weird hobby, which otherwise (especially in cases like South Hill Slots, with NO drive by traffic exposure), do not get the media attention or drive by visibility of many other activities, sports, or hobbies.

Here's the link to the Puyallup Herald article online:

J.P. Van Rossem also wrote up an article with results on the IMCA Slotracing web site:

    Thumbs down Articulation...

Both articles were well written, just pretty biased. And JP needs to give a little bit more credit to Ray Bishop lol. Ray has been kicking our butts for 5 years since I have been going to SHS. Its nothin new in my neck of the woods. I think retiring sounds good too. // Ian
