why dont you guys pull finger and get some rules running what ever they are and get some real 1/24 racing going. there are guys all over the country keen to come and race. you have seen real 1/24 racing now so why not adopt something along the same lines as the seattle race.

Now that you are all together in one place, you will think about what to do in the coming year. We need sane rules for scale racing.

Two of the most powerful people are PdL and JPVR. They both agree that all slotcars should be cheap junk (though pretty) that racers are not allowed to improve. Even though they agree on that incorrect concept, they apparently don't like each other very much. Philippe makes great bodies, but we need cooler minds directing the hobby.

How many people realize just how simple and economical a one-piece EDM chassis can be?

Funny post Philippe. I know all about M&Ms.

When you are poor, it is hard to eat at high class hotels and good restaurants. The truth is, almost all grocery store food is bad as M&Ms, even meat and fruits and vegetables.

The only good food is expensive, or is in Europe. Did you notice how skinny all the European slot racers are, and how fat all the American slot racers are? It's not because they race slot cars and don't get any real exercise. Both groups do that. It's because of our food and their food. I don't even think about eating M&Ms. I have tried to explain this to my rich father, explain to him that if I had money to eat food that isn't designed to keep you down, tired, fat, I would probably be better off. He doesn't believe me. He thinks there is nothing is wrong with M&Ms, or American grocery store food, no matter how bad it makes you look, or feel.

Your ideas on rules are wrong, but you have great model cars. I could make those models into great slotcars. Have you noticed how the popularity of the hobby is dropping? Hmm, we must be doing something wrong.
